Carla Stent

Carla Stent joined the Board of Evelyn Partners as an independent Non-Executive Director on 4 October 2019.

Carla has held a number of C-suite positions in the banking, travel and retail sectors, including Thomas Cook AG, the Virgin Group, Barclays Bank plc and the Octopus Group.
 
Carla has a portfolio career and alongside serving on the Board of Evelyn Partners she is Chair of Audit and Risk at Telecom Plus plc and is a non-executive director of HBX Group. She has previously chaired the board of the Marex Group plc and served on the boards of a number of companies and charities including JP Morgan Elect plc, Christian Aid, Power to Change Trust (Deputy Chair), as well as start-up and early-stage companies.
 
Carla is also a serial angel investor, mentor and frequent public speaker. She is a qualified chartered accountant, and has qualifications in sustainability. She is also a co-founder of a strategic consultancy, MCS Advisory Limited. Carla was born and educated in South Africa.
