Our Approach

Supporting inclusion every day

To help us achieve our Inclusion and Diversity goals, we ensure our policies are comprehensive and actively support attracting and retaining colleagues from all walks of life. Our policies are reviewed each year to keep them current and relevant, from our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy, Family Leave and Flexible Working Policy to name a few.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

This outlines our dedication to building a safe, supportive and inclusive workplace for everyone – no matter their identity, background or personal circumstances. This policy sets out the steps we take to make sure all colleagues are treated fairly, feel included and are free from discrimination, helping everyone reach their full potential.

Family Leave

We understand that family comes first, and no two situations surrounding our loved ones are the same. Our Family Leave Policy is here to support colleagues through key life events like maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave, dependants leave and bereavement, however these chapters look for them. We want our people to feel supported in balancing work and home life, and we offer enhanced pay for core leave where possible.

Flexible Working

Life isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither is work. Our Flexible Working Policy supports colleagues who need to adjust their hours or patterns – whether it’s for family, childcare, or other reasons. We’re committed to handling all requests fairly, consistently and in line with legal guidance.

Transgender and Non-Binary Equality

We believe everyone should feel seen and respected at work. This policy sets out how we support transgender and non-binary colleagues and create an inclusive environment where all identities are recognised and treated with dignity.

Dignity at Work – Anti-Bullying and Harassment

Everyone deserves to work in a respectful and safe space. This policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to bullying and harassment and sets out what behaviours are unacceptable, the impact they can have and how colleagues can seek help or report concerns.

Dignity at Work – Anti-Sexual Harassment

This policy builds on our anti-bullying and harassment commitment, with a specific focus on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. We take a zero-tolerance approach and are continually working to raise awareness and strengthen preventative measures.
