How do you describe what you do?
I am primarily responsible for making decisions about where and how to invest money on behalf of clients. This can involve portfolio construction, security selection, risk management, performance monitoring and reporting.
What's next for you professionally?
To continue to grow my assets under management and grow my clients wealth.
How did you start off in your career?
I started my career in banking at a time when you knew all the clients that came to the branch. This level of personal service has carried on throughout my career and is fundamental in what we do to build up the level of trust that a client expects.
What's next for you personally?
My personal goal is to become a scratch golfer. I am currently a 4 handicap and with continued practice I aim to get there next year. This requires dedication and a love for the game, similar aspects to working life.
Where's your favourite place to meet with your clients?
I prefer to meet clients at their own home as i feel this puts them at ease straightaway. This also provides us with the opportunity to discuss their wider family.
