I'm going to be greedy and list two, i.) Don't be afraid to hire people who are more talented and intelligent than you ii.) Be specific about what you're going to do and when you're going to do it
What's your area of expertise?
C-Suite and professional partners - they're typically time poor, used to an exceptional level of service and have incredible attention to detail. We work in collaboration with a trusted team of advisers across investments, tax, legal and finance.
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
A country walk with my black Labrador "Ted" listening to a podcast - favourites include - High Performance, The Rest is Politics, No Laying Up, Freakonomics, F1 Explains, More or Less, The Infinite Monkey Cage and Desert Island Discs.
